WHAT'S USUALLY INCLUDED
Accommodations for custom tours are always selected based on your groups' personal requests and preferences. Accommodations are also selected on the basis of quality, location, cleanliness, dining facilities, and the warm hospitality of their management and staff. We believe you will be delighted with our selections.
In the National Parks and in some peak season locations, accommodations may be somewhat rustic, but their location gives you the opportunity to more easily view the splendor of the parks and other undeveloped areas. Service staffs in National Park facilities are often part-time employees who are relatively inexperienced. Their service may not compare to our choice of hotels in other locations. Lodge amenities in National Park facilities may also not compare to our hotel choices in other locations.
Room assignments are always made by the hotel / motel in an impartial manner. Special requests for smoking/nonsmoking rooms, king-size beds, and connecting rooms need to be made when booking your tour, or at least 30 days prior to departure. We try to honor all requests but in some hotels and locations special requests cannot always be honored.
A single person may request that they share a Twin/Double room. Early reservations will aid us in finding a roommate. If we are not successful, the “Single Rate” will be charged. The price per person will change when a roommate cancels and your accommodation type changes.
We must be informed in advance if you or someone in your group has a disability that prevents their independence. A travel companion who will assume full responsibility for their care and mobility must accompany them.
Single: One person with one bed
Couple: Two persons with one double, queen or king bed
Twin/Double: Two persons with two beds
Triple: Three persons with TWO beds
Quad: Four persons with TWO beds
In most locations rollaway cots are available but are not recommended for comfort. All hotel and lodge accommodations come with private baths, as well as many other amenities. Although quality may vary from place to place, we seek to provide the best rated available accommodations as requested in your group agreement.
Round-trip transportation is provided via spacious new motorcoaches. All coaches are equipped with restroom, air-conditioning, adjustable seats, individual reading lights, overhead racks for carry-on bags, VCR & monitors, stereo and public address system, and huge tinted panoramic windows. On some tours and in certain areas pickups and returns may be made by way of comfortable cars, vans or deluxe mini-buses.

Hotel Rooms Before and After Tours
To avoid jet lag and possible flight delays, your group may wish to make hotel arrangements for the nights preceding or following your tour. As a service, we will book additional nights for you on a space-available basis using our special rates. To obtain our rates, hotel room charges will have to be added to the tour cost.
Although every effort is made to handle your luggage carefully, we cannot be responsible, assume liability or accept claims for loss or damage to luggage and personal effects due to breakage, theft, or fair wear and tear through hotel, airline and group carrier handling. It is important for your own self-interest and protection that you make certain you have adequate insurance to cover these eventualities
Phone calls, room service, alcoholic and bar beverages, mineral water, soft drinks, laundry, airline excess luggage charges, vaccinations, visa fees and services, airport departure transfers, airport and departure taxes, and other optional or incidental extras are not included.
Vacation insurance coverage is not provided. We highly recommend the purchase of tour travel insurance. We can provide insurance at an additional charge on an individual client basis.
Optional Tours and Activities
When requested by a group booking, we will provide a list of optional tours and activities, with the ability to sign up for each available tour or activity in advance. Most optional tours and activities will pick up the participants directly from the hotel.
We can provide an "all-inclusive" group price, prices per person, or prices per day. Our "average" per person per day price is about $330.
Our prices are usually per person and will depend on the number of paying participants. “Custom Designed Motorcoach Tour” prices will be quoted based on the rating of your preferred accommodations. Price will also vary based on the number of meals provided in your tour agreement. Tour prices are quoted in U.S. dollars.
Before we make any hotel or other tour reservations we will need a deposit. The amount of the deposit will depend on the number of tour participants and the choice of accommodations, but is usually about 15%. We accept wire transfers, certified checks, and all major credit cards.
